How to Apply for a Miami County Marriage License

Both applicants must appear together at the Miami County Clerk's office under IC 31-11-4-3. The state online pre-application at courts.in.gov/marriage can be completed before your visit, but it does not replace the in-person step.

Valid ID is required. Miami County accepts a driver's license, state ID, birth certificate, military ID, or passport. Your Social Security number is required on the application. Miami County also asks for your mother's maiden name and your parents' place of birth. Have this information ready when you go in.
